Where exactly is the lodge?

Serondela Lodge is located in the Namibian side of the Chobe river. Precisely in front of the famous sighting spot in the Chobe NP called Serondela. This is 17km by road from Kasane and 25km by boat.
The lodge is built in Kabulabula conservancy and seasonally it becomes an island.
Why is the lodge only accessible by boat?
The Lodge is located on an seasonal island. The Chobe/Zambezi flood can be very high and the road from Ngoma to Serondela Lodge is flooded and inaccessible most of the time during the year.
The free transfer from Kasane is on it’s self a unique game viewing experience. Pick up time is t 14h00 at Kasane immigration jetty. (MAP)
Where is the pick up point in Kasane?
Guests can be collected at the Kasane town immigration river jetty.
The Immigration office is close to the Department of Tourism office.
BOAT PICK UP transfer from KASANE
Time: 14:00
If guests are not dropping off a rented vehicle, they will be instructed by our staff on where to park safely after dropping their luggage with our staff at the Immigration Jetty.

BOAT DROP OFF transfer to KASANE
Time: 09:00 to 09:15 (departure from the Lodge at 7:15)
Guests will be dropped off at the Immigration Jetty in Kasane.
Transfers to the airport, Kazungula, Victoria Falls, or Livingstone can be arranged for an additional charge.
How long does it take from Kasane to the Lodge?
The duration of the boat transfer differs from Pick-up and Drop-off.
On arrival to the lodge the Pick-up transfer will be a sighting boat cruise and it could take from 2 to 3 hours. This is an amazing cruise with a lot of wildlife sightings!
On departure it will be a direct transfer to Kasane and 1 hour will be the duration.
Is the pick up/drop off free?
Yes, it does not matter whether you are booked on a full-board or DBB basis. The boat transfers from/to Kasane Immigration are provided for free at fixed times. Outside of the fixed times, a fee will apply.
Guest will be collected at the Kasane Town Immigration River Jetty.

What activities does the lodge offer
The Fullboard Activity package includes the following:
Day 1: 2h Boat transfer cruise. Day 2: 3h AM Nature walk or Village visit, 3h PM Sundowner cruise. On departure day, 1h Boat cruise transfer and 3h Game drive in the Chobe NP (starting at 9:00 from Kasane).
Option Two
Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. includes: 2h Boat transfer cruise on arrival day and drop off transfer cruise on check out at fixed times. The daily lodge scheduled activities, are available at additional cost and subject to planned program.
